| Clay Times Many people are shy about using clay at Fired Up, so we have started a special time for you to explore making your own projects in clay. We will have help available for you during these times. The cost for the projects is $20 or less, depending upon what you want to make. We have samples of projects you can make, and some are listed below. These clay times are designed to fit into your schedule and budget. You can come anytime, and leave anytime, and we will help you get started in clay. The slab, or flat projects are the easiest. You will make at least one piece. The pieces will be dried, then bisque fired, and you come back on your own schedule to glaze (paint) the piece. We re-fire it then it will be ready for pickup. Cost: $20 or less per project made. Cost includes instruction, clay, two firings, glazes, and two studio fees. More than one person can work on the same project for no extra cost. In other words, we'd love parents help! These clay times are for handbuilding only; wheel throwing is not included. Great for everyone! |
