Then we will help you find it! Many first timers say they can’t
wait to come back. Fired Up Pottery is located in the Lake
Edge Shopping center in Madison, and you can paint your
own pottery, make a fused glass piece, or take a pottery wheel
class. Clay is also available. Reservations are not necessary,
except for parties of 7 or more people. We also host birthday
parties, scout events, classes, day cares and field trips,
church events, fund raisers, bridal showers, girls night out,
school family nights, and other events we haven't even
thought of yet! (Call us!)

Don't forget teacher appreciation plates. We have kits you can sign out and bring to the school, or soccer team, or church. Play in the Clay ~ $12 each session (includes 1 project completely finished) This is an open studio time for kids and adults to come in and receive instruction on how to do hand building in clay. We have many projects and great ideas to spark any imagination. We will have an instructor on hand to help with your project. Price includes all materials and clay for 1 project, up to 1 pound of clay, completely finished (bisque firing, glazing and glaze firing.) Pieces will be available to paint approximately 2 weeks after creation. Additional projects may be completed on the same day for an additional fee of $8 per pound. Please call 608-442-9900 to reserve your spot. Suggested class times are 1/2 hour to 45 min for kids 6 and under and 1 hour for those 7 and older. May Thursday 30th 11am June Monday 3rd 11am Thursday 27th 11am July Tuesday 9th 11am Saturday 20th 11am WINE DINE AND DAZZLE June 20th Thursday Wine, Dine & Dazzle is open to all adults and will be held on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Wine, Dine and Dazzle is $5 plus your art with registration or $7 plus your art for walk-ins. Registration is requested in advance to make sure we have enough food on hand. Fired Up Pottery will provide munchies and water. You are welcome to bring in a beverage of your choice. Fired Up will have drawings approximately every 1/2 hour for fun prizes, including a 25% off coupon. Dates in 2013 are: June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19th. Try it Wheel classes $35 each for a Fired Up arranged class, see dates below. $40 each for a private class with a minimum of two people. $50 for a one hour private one on one class This stand alone class is perfect for those that have never tried the wheel or just need a refresher course. In this 1 and 1/2 hour class you will get basic wheel throwing instructions. Class fee includes instruction, studio fee, and one piece completely finished. Additional pieces may be thrown and are $8 per pound of clay. You will be able to return approximately 2 weeks later to finish your pieces for no additional cost. Registration required to hold your spot in one of our classes. We are offering 10 minute sessions on the wheel for your child. Bring your camera and capture them creating their first masterpieces on the wheel. Ages 2 and up. This will be an event to remember, especially when they get to paint their piece approximately 2 weeks later. Cost includes 1 completed piece (bisque fired, glazed and glaze fired). The class project includes your choice of either 2 pendants, 1 wine stopper, or 1 purse hanger. Intermediate Glass Fusing-$25 In this class you will learn about cutting glass, slumping and draping. The class project includes your choice of either a night light, a ring dish or a soap dish. Advanced Glass Fusing- $30 In this class you will be working with dichroic glass, fiber paper, and high temperature wire and glass paint. The class project includes your choice of a 6x6 plate or bowl or swoop plate, a picture frame, or three more pendants. Sign up for all 3 glass classes for $65! June's class is full Sign up now by calling 442-9900 We have 6 spots available for our beginning wheel class, which will include wheel instruction for 5 weeks, with the 6th week set aside for glazing. Class fee includes up to 8 pounds of clay, all materials and firings. Extra clay can be purchased for $8 per pound once you have used up your class amount. Payment due at registration to hold your spot. Techniques you will learn include centering your clay, handles, lids, surface decoration, glazing and finishing your pieces. If you are an advanced student, we can customize class to your level.
