Day Cares, after school programs and other businesses or organizations: Fired Up Pottery can support your business, organization or church by providing all the materials to successfully paint pottery at either your site, or in our store as a field trip. The paints are non-toxic, and wash up with water, even on hands and clothing. Most groups ask me to provide mugs, bowls and plates, and they can choose the item when they arrive. Mugs and bowls or plates are $15, and include the project, paints and firing. Of course if you want special items, we can pre-order these for you. The most amazing part? Given enough notice, we are completely flexible on how to meet your needs. Paint on a Monday when we are normally closed? No problem. Come early before the store opens? No problem. I'll either open for you, or come to you. We provide outstanding customer service. We can set these events up year round, indoors or outdoors! Have an idea? Call 608-839-5000. Ask for Kim. Events hosted include: Wisconsin School for the Deaf Learning Ladder Preschool Wisconsin Bar Association GE Medical 4-H painting for empty bowls
Note: Yahoo maps does not show correct location. The store is further east, between West Oak and Sandpiper, near the Piggly Wiggly.
New Hours: Now opening on Sundays and Mondays, and later on Friday! Monday 5 to 8 pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11 am to 8 pm Wednesday and Saturday 11 am to 9 pm (paint after dinner) Sunday 1 to 5 Driving directions are below. West Cottage Grove Road is Highway BB, and is marked as BB, not Cottage Grove Road. Depending upon your location in Madison, Mapquest gives "back road" directions, and some people have missed a critical turn. It is longer, but easier to take Cottage Grove Road, or Interstate 94 or Highways 12/18 to go east. Call 608-839-5000 if you need more information.
